Dr. Yakir Arteaga

Dr. Yakir Arteaga graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry in 2000. Aschheim & Arteaga He completed two years of postdoctoral training in general dentistry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and a one-year clinical concentration program in Aesthetic Dentistry at NYU. World Of Smiles His work focused on full mouth rehabilitation, esthetics, and implant dentistry, which enables Dr. Arteaga to treat a full range of patients' dental needs.

Beyond private practice, Dr. Arteaga is passionate about teaching and leadership. He joined the Mount Sinai Department of Dentistry in 2002 as a Clinical Instructor and was promoted to Section Chief in 2004. World Of Smiles He has lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally, on aesthetic dentistry, dental technology, and implantology. Aschheim & Arteaga He is active in numerous professional organizations including the New York Academy of Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the American College of Dentists.

Dr. Arteaga's heart for service shines through his humanitarian work. He is a co-founder of World of Smiles Inc. and has organized dental outreach programs to Granada, Nicaragua—his country of birth—and La Romana, Dominican Republic World Of Smiles, bringing care to those who need it most. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children World Of Smiles and is fluent in Spanish.
